A LIGHT IN DARK PLACES

There are few women in this world I love and appreciate more than Erika. Having had her in my life now these last several years has enriched me creatively, mentally, and spiritually. She’s brought out my paternal side, exchanged patience and advice with me, and is truly one of the special people that I know I’ll never lose touch with.

I’m so honored to have been a small part of her life journey so far, and it’s dazzling to see just how far she’s come in the few years I’ve known her.

This series is one I’d wanted to do for years. Though not an original idea, it’s always fun to attempt to do things others have, to make it your own, that even just in the attempt, you learn something new.

In this regard, we learned that no matter how long a candle is, it ill burn faster than you want it to. And no matter how many safeguards you use, the model will still get melted wax all over her sensitive breasts.

Thankfully, Erika, who isn’t the strongest of people physically, is mentally quite strong, and was able to push through and keep going no matter how much it hurt. Just the fact that she was willing to endure the pain and struggle shows how much she trusts me and how dedicated she is to her craft. All while making it seem so easy.
