A NEW DAY
Things are looking up, or maybe I’m just viewing things a bit differently.
I’ve been mired in well-earned negativity and frustration for a long time, and probably will continue to be for some time longer. However, my perspective is changing. Maybe I’m just changing my attitude, maybe I’m keeping busier with no time to dwell, or maybe I’m maturing further.
Either way, my mood reminded me of this recent shoot I had with the legendary and beautiful Kaitlin, who is as fun and interesting as she is stunning. I picked her up at her home on the central coast of California and she said she knew of a perfect, secluded location. It took Facetiming with her friend who literally told us where to turn as I drove until we finally reached the place she had promised. Unfortunately, it was a trash heap, a kind of place where people dump whatever they can and which young people and stoners tend to frequent in order to avoid their parents.
Still, we captured some magical images, as usual. We made the best of a bad situation, shooting on and inside my dirty truck. This is the exact bodysuit she wore during our first shoot about three years ago, and she thought it would be nostalgic to pull it out and wear it again.
