IVORY
Back in February I was shocked and honored to hear that my dear friend and model Claudia Lion, Italian goddess and creative genius, was not only coming to visit the United States during the summer, but that she would be making time to stop into my little town just to work with me! And true to her word, two weeks ago it happened!
I met Claudia in Venice, Italy back in the summer of 2017 and we’ve been in almost constant contact since. Sweet, fun, goofy, creative, artistic, and physically flawless, this rare and special beauty is one of the best models I’ve ever worked with. She’s so much fun, so easy-going, so agreeable, there is almost no one like her.
Claudia is an art and film major back in Padua, Italy, and her travels around the countryside via train are always an adventure to enjoy on her Instagram stories, which I highly recommend.
We headed out to the first part of our shoot at the local sand dunes, where she marveled at the landscape, saying it reminded her of when she was working in Tunisia, home of the Star Wars sets of Tatooine. I loved that she knew and thought of that reference.
We had a blast shooting there, with my wonderful girlfriend manning the reflector for us as an awesome and perfect photo assistant. We all talked, laughed, shared stories of Europe and traveling in America, and simply had a blast.
I hope you enjoy this series as much as I do, it was such a joy to be able to collaborate with such a great model and friend again! Let me know what you think!
