Haven City, full print

happy holidays everyone! some of you already know that I spent the last two months traveling around to see my relatives for the season (even got the plague, ha) So I spent christmas working on this! the earlier version was a rather slap-dash background for an illustration, but I liked it so much I decided to re-render it for print.

When I'm ready to post to a print selling site, I'll let you all know! Otherwise, I'm looking forward to drawing normally again within a few days, ...

Holiday Update:

Hey everybody! Hope you all’s November has been going well!

I’ve had a busy few weeks myself. For the past ten days, I’ve been moving all over. It’s been really nice seeing my family, and we did lots of hiking and cooking together. In the midst of all the traveling and holiday festivities, I also caught the plague! (I’m ok guys. It was mild, and I had a bottle of NyQuil through the worst of it. My nose is still raw though, haha.) So that was fun!

The future

Hey everybody,

Not planning anything too dramatic for the immediate future, but how would ya'll feel about this patreon transitioning into a comic production account?

The shift would be, I would stop focusing on delivering sketches and illustrations, into solely focusing on delivering fully inked and colored comic pages.

A Jak comic, of course.

I would aim to deliver 3 to 4 pages per month, probably in batches, rather than single page updates. Though, there may be ...

Hey everybody. I moved again this past week, so I didn't get as much drawing done as I would have liked too. Commissions are in progress, I've just been really busy with traveling, not to mention getting settled in all over again.

sketches are from a little while ago, so the style might be noticeably different. the first two follow Torn going feral seeing Jak wear formal clothes, and the last one is a concept sketch to redo my cover for my fic.

I have this headcanon that the clothes Torn wears in Jak X are just the only set of 'civilian' clothes that he owns. And another headcanon that Jak likes to nap in sun after clearing haven forest of metalheads.

It's strange. I kind of like every stage in the drawing for different reasons. I think the flats stage has a nice simplicity to it. and the sketch phase has a lot of life, that I'd like to be better at keeping in my line art. ah well

Hero tier sketches for April, thank you everyone!, and a demon hunter au! Torn is a priest and Jak is a hunter who channels a demon to fight ghosts. Together the pair investigate ghost crimes, exorcize demons, and make homoerotic puns. Think supernatural, but even more gay. (and i may or may not have a fetish for putting Torn in jackets.)
