I felt my skin get disintegrated, searing pain coagulating my mind.

But they soon started to recover… I had won.

This universe wasn’t some game world, but winning a fight like this and emerging victorious, would certainly enhance the victor by a lot, I don’t know how or why it happened, but victory meant getting stronger.

And that was for someone who had no abilities aiding that, my case was different, I had adaptive evolution.

Since the start of the battle, my adaptation had gone into an overdrive adapting me to all the attacks and damages incurred.

But now, the battle had ended, and my body was elevating itself naturally, so this time around, something else went into an overdrive- The evolution aspect of my ability.

Let’s boost it a bit.

And some energy went off aiding that, not much energy, considering that the evolution ability already was working in the direction, the wish essentially just improved the efficiency and removed any possible mishaps.

It would take some time I guess… though I have no clue where I have been thrown off to…

The explosion contained a ridiculous amount of conceptual power, enough to injure even me who was at some distance.

Asgorath, who had taken the explosion point blank, was left near death.

Yeah… near death, not entirely dead, at that last moment he used a bit of faith power to save his life.

Now, you may ask what this faith power is?

Well, like any god or lord level being should, we can access the power of faith from the people who worship us, now, don’t think of it as some awesome power…

Because, it has almost zero relevance on our strength, what it does instead, is give us a bunch of strange abilities, like people who worship us, we can ‘bless’ them.

And if there is any benefit to us, then it would be that it boosts our healing speed, like I said, even if a god does nothing, no matter how serious the injury, they would completely heal, now that healing part is innate, but faith power is the fuel it consumes.

A lord can indeed heal even without faith, but you know, it would be much slower, like ten times slower.

So, faith is mostly an ignored power except when recruiting subordinates or healing after battles.

Oh, there’s another factor, you can also know if someone respects or worships you if the generate faith towards you, one cannot fake that.

Anyways, the injuries I had sustained could be healed instantly by a wish, no need to use that slow process of faith healing.

“Ughhhh” I groaned out loud as I felt the evolution process growing within my body, all my tissues were spasming, cells radiating with heat.

My connection with Anti-matter felt closer with each passing moment, the energy breeder generated ridiculous amounts of energy as it expanded slowly, the energy dimension on the other hand did not change much except the fact that my control over it increased tremendously.

As for wish… I don’t know if there are any changes with that, maybe it would take a bit lesser energy for the same wish from now onwards?

After what felt like hours, the agonizing feeling finally came to an end, an endless burst of energy erupted from my body sending shockwaves in all directions.

My body which had been freely floating in space until now suddenly stood up.

“Holy shit!!!” was the first thing I blurted as I checked my body, although my looks hadn’t changed, my insides were almost completely rewired.

All the brawling I did with the dragon king evolved my body towards physical strength surpassing that of Asgorath himself.

‘Damn I am like Superman just with my physical strength now…’ Yeah, I could crush planets without using any enhancement from energy.

If Asgorath could destroy stars by hurling me at them with physical strength, then I who was stronger could do even more.

But the most important thing was my energy.

The previous me had a lot of energy, at least 20 to 30% higher than average Lord level beings without counting the energy dimension.

While Asgorath had around ten times my energy, now, I had surpassed him in energy, it was probably around 20 times the average.

You know the best part? The energy breeder still generated the same amount of energy I had in a single day, so, that had also increased by 20 times.

With a single thought, I disappeared from where I was, and appeared inside my energy dimension.

‘hmm, now this properly feels like my domain, if things turn extreme, I could pull enemies here and kill them… I am almost invincible here.’ The energy dimension will be my trump card, only to be used when I am in a battle of life and death.

Though, is there anyone even capable of fighting me to death now? I mean, after my evolution, taking on Asgorath would be easy, I wouldn’t have to go all out to defeat him now.

And he was considered the strongest in the universe, so I should be pretty much invincible here, right?

Anyways… I will think about this later, those elf girls… hmm I forgot their names, I left them back inside the barrier… that planet was destroyed, so they must be floating somewhere in space inside that barrier.

Ughh finding them is gonna be a pain, I should just make a wish and teleport there…

[Wish: teleport me to the elf girls I placed inside the barrier.]

And with a blink, I appeared in front of a barrier ball containing a few elves, strangely, they were not alone, an entire team of elves was outside the barrier, apparently waiting for me, and trying to open the barrier sealing the elf girls.

“Lord Daniel!” the entire team of elves bowed at once, the stream of faith rising from them was enough to let me know that the result of my battle with Asgorath was now known to them.

Which means, I now officially hold the title- The Strongest being in existence.

I nodded at the elves and replied with a smile, “This barrier was made by me to be strong enough to survive the aftereffects of the battle between myself and Asgorath.

Now, Asgorath has been defeated, and much of this galaxy has been destroyed, yet this barrier holds. It can’t be opened through mundane means, let me do it.” And with a wave of my hand, the barrier disappeared.

And since the elf girls did not have space gear, I covered them with my energy just in case any of them were incapable of survival in space.

“Lord Daniel… thank you for protecting us.” The smart elf girl bowed deeply.

“Don’t mention that… it was due to my decision that we were here in the first place.” I laughed.

“Still, we elves are grateful for your consideration, and since you have just fought this tiresome battle, we would like to humbly invite you to the abode of the Elves- Alfheim.” She continued with a smile.

Hmmm… I do feel like having a good rest… and if I can have some beautiful elf maids serving me, it would be even better…

It’s all to relax my mind, since fighting Asgorath was far too taxing, no other reasons at all.

“Very well… let’s go to Alfheim, though, I would have to return to Earth soon due to the fight with Asgorath, meetings at the Gods council and all, so my visit would be rather short.” I replied with a smile.
