Time off and an increase in posts after?
Added 2025-06-14 16:23:50 +0000 UTCI’m reaching the end of btdem. I’m writing the last chapters now in my backlog.
Ideally, I’d then sit down and edit the finale quite a bit to make sure it lands. I’ve been working on btdem for half a decade, and I don’t want to punt the final.
Here’s what I’m thinking: take 1-2 weeks off, finish btdem, edit like hell, then post at 3/4/5 posts a week to finish strong. Get the ending at a brisk pace instead of the slower 2 a week.
I will happily bow to the will of the people here!

All I ask for is a few “around the world” chapters for all the side characters for after Elaine ascends and Iona becomes an angel. Reactions from Night and Susan, reactions from Sara, Artemis, Amber, the Sixth Legion, white dove/black crow, Nina, Valkyries which are slowly blooming again, Ciriel, Martin the Librarian, Flora, and maybe, just maybe, a hand made of ash, Origen waving goodbye, or meeting Lyra on the other side.
