Sick, taking next week off

Hi all!

I was really hoping not to have to write this.

I've been sick all week, and for the longest time, it looked like I was going to be able to write all the chapters needed at a quality I was happy with. It was slow, it was tough, but I was getting there, with plans for a pair of big workdays to finish everything off strong.

Then I got almost literally no sleep last night. Like, I saw 2AM, 3AM, 4AM, 5AM, 6AM, 7AM, 8AM then it was the day BAD. Anything I try to write at this point is going to be a disaster of a chapter.

I'm a little reluctant to burn backlog right now. I COULD, sure, but my backlog shrunk as I was getting my head screwed on straight back in Jan, and I've noticed a strong correlation between the size of my backlog, and the quality I post. Instead of burning backlog and making all my future chapters a little worse, instead I'm choosing to take the week off, recover properly, and carry on with the strongest chapters I can as I try to land the behemoth of a story well.

I'm really sorry all. I had a handle on this until I got kicked in the sleep. Going to try and get all sorts of misc. stuff done so I can write like crazy next week. Who knows, maybe I'll manage to catch up and post extra the week after.

Sorry again, I'm not doing a great job at sticking to my promise to you all. I strive to do the best I can.
