The Paperback Question
Added 2024-07-09 12:56:03 +0000 UTCHey all!
Okay, I'll start with what you all want to know:
1) Moving's going well. My desktop is setup, my workspace is half setup.
2) Chapter is still planned for Monday, although it's going to need significant editing. I think you'll enjoy it!
Onto the question!
Should I change my paperbacks?
I started off my paperbacks when people wanted it, having basically 0 idea what I was doing. Over the years I've dramatically improved and learned a ton, but I've continued to do my paperbacks in the same awkward style, so everything would look nice on a shelf.
Well, now I'm thinking about all the different ways I can make them all so much nicer, and I've got the itch to make them nice. However, this kinda screws over people who've been buying the 'old' version - they can't get access to the 'new' version on the later books, leaving their collections on the awkward side.
So the question is - should I change and make all paperbacks going forward (and backwards!) ~nice and fancy~, or should I keep plodding along with my frankly mediocre style?
Do note - doing 'both' sets of paperbacks is nearly impossible/infeasible due to how Amazon works, and I don't quite have the energy to set up and run parallel sales sites for paperbacks that are, quite frankly, rarely bought.
PS: This excludes any special editions I might run once the series is complete.

I almost bought all the available paperbacks yesterday until I saw this. I'll certainly be purchasing the entire series in the future :)

2024-07-10 06:12:22 +0000 UTCKeep current style til end of series then update them all at once. That way people who like them all the same will have that option amd those that want nicer can get them without making their shelve look odd.
