So my gamble was correct! Not really gamble… i’ve just written below how Elaine configured her class for skills and used the left ‘starlight’ for stats. There is the whole contrast thing here with ‘dawn’ ‘dusk’. A nice play, its only poetic for Iona to be a stats monster while Elaine a skill focused one

2021-07-12 19:33:24 +0000 UTCI feel like there a few threads that are being set up. #1 they both like girls #2 they are both looking for a companion #3 dawn sentinel dusk valkyrie #4 the author has established that becoming a companion with another person isn't impossible. #5 the amount of foil between the two characters is ridiculous and to be a companion with a person requires the involved parties to be very similar.

Given that our healer has a couple more arcs to level up and get cursed with immortality I'm excited for the interactions when Iona busts in to "rescue" the "helpless" healer and gets dragged into shenanigans by a level 600+ sentinel with very significant combat potential and a "plan".

Both of her classes were at 256+ While at the dead zone She had way more achievements than only one battle that launched both to 256+… Even at the formorian she was already maxed. She should have higher stats i guess… But on the other hand. Elaine built her healer class and focused on the skills while the stats were secondary. Maybe Iona is the opposite? Her first class is a monster on giving stats on level ups while the skills stayed the same as when she was 256?

2021-07-10 10:34:04 +0000 UTCThat means before she is trapped she could do something quite funny. First of all when she is trapped. Its needs to be not mana draining. So she can do persistent immortality casting while unconscious or asleep. Second of all if she plans it or has sometime to react i would persistsnt cast all the skills she had pretty much so they continue to level up like shine and sunrise and all the other skills she has. I still kinda think the curse gonna be different. Maybe she would already gave a third class by the time she is “frozen” Or launched go the future

2021-07-10 04:33:21 +0000 UTCIf you look at Elaine when she first classed up she had 305/256 with ~50k stats. So 50 levels above 256 gave about 20k stats or 400 per level. Iona has 94 more levels and 35k more stats which gives ~372 per level. I'd guess that their main class has about the same quality, ~400 per level, while her 2nd class is a bit weaker, ~350 per level.

2021-07-10 02:49:46 +0000 UTCYeah, it's what, something over 105k base stats? Elaine only has about 70k at 355/256. That's a 3/2 base stat difference or 50% more. Granted there's a level difference between 355/256 and 391/314, but maybe Iona's classes have been consistently better quality?

2021-07-10 02:44:35 +0000 UTCIona has ridiculous stats. She does have 2 classes beyond 256 and is higher level than Elaine. But damn. I feel like Iona being a traveling archer might be some subtle hints at Elaine's next mage class. But also, damn Iona, that is a lot of freaking stats.

2021-07-10 02:38:22 +0000 UTCI am just waiting on Elaine to get trapped in a crystal/forced to sleep/Portaled to the future/punished for he immortal ability and yeeted into next week literally so she and Iona can have their stories intersect. It being so far future would discount that without her having the immortal thingy in her class. But we will see how many books into the future that is. keep up the good work!
