2020-11-29 15:19:44 +0000 UTCHave you considered going with a symbol of sorts on a flag (of the Rangers perhaps?) and maybe have Elaine and the other Rangers in silhouette in the back ground or something? Sweeping fantasy backdrops with that sort of thing in the foreground should be more economical to pull off than a detailed close up of all of them I'd imagine. It should give at least a vague impression of what the story is about though. If I saw a book with a cover like that I'd assume it was a generic middle/high school progression Avatar Airbender-esque thing. Sorry if you already spent too much on this

2020-11-29 06:37:50 +0000 UTCThe artist isn't bad but the looks of the characters really doesn't fit. They all look like tweeners and in story other than Elaine they're older than that. Some of them are supposed to be downright grizzled, even covered with scars, right? In particular that guy with the beard looks comical. Like a kid wearing a fake beard.
