Took me a week and 3 chapters to do but think I have covered coming clean, quest and kingdom building okay which was 60% of the vote.

2023-08-13 15:16:44 +0000 UTCI like kingdom building and I feel there is a lot of room to tie it together with adventuring and crisis management. Like exploring the underwater ruins and forging a beneficial relationship. Dungeon diving and developing industries around it. Exploring the wider ocean (with the neriad) and extracting recources. Developing industries that make use of the unique resources like pearls. Establishing a education system (with the church?) to develop more highly skilled labour. Finding experienced soldiers to build a navy/military and doing some anti-pirate missions. Recruiting experts to bring necessary expertiese for all the development is a must. There are also some catastrophes wating to happen: most of the freed slaves are male, which is a demographic time bomb. In any family there are a few black sheep, so expect some treason. With the influx of more people, there will be culture clashes and conflicts between the old families and the "foreigners". Some recources will become sparcer. Also some nobles will apply economic pressure by not trading with the merchants and sending more pirates.
