Posting for August is going to be a little all over the place this month.
Normally I manage to post once or twice a week while working full time. This month I am on holiday which gives me a little bit more time to write but there are a lot of other jobs to do like looking after my two children one of whom is on her summer holiday and the other of which is still really small. There have also been a few legal and housing issues I have had to address.
Still, I have been working hard to write as much as possible this last week. I have posted 3 chapters to Royal Road and 6 chapters to Patreon in an attempt to fill out the tiers a bit better.
I made the tiers nearly a year ago and hadn't really changed them till it was pointed out this week that they were a little out of date and inaccurate.
Old tiers were the following (with very old descriptions)
Lv 0 = 2 chapters ahead for £1
Lv 1 = 4 chapters ahead for £2
Lv 2 = 8 chapters ahead for £4 (although description said 4 chapters)
Lv 4 = All unwritten chapters for £8 (although in the description said 7 soon to be 8)
In reality, Lv 4 ranged from 8 to 16 chapters ahead at various points over the year.
New and current tiers are as follows
Lv 0 is no longer available unless you already have it Selkie wrote an informative post about £1 tiers and called it everyone takes my lunch money tier as once you factor in card fees, patreon fees, taxes etc very little makes it to the author. I will of course honour the 11 people who have it thank you for your support but . . . decided to drop it after reading his article.
So new simplified tiers are to be
Lv 1 = 4 chapters ahead for £2
Lv 2 = 10 chapters ahead for £4 (currently 11 ahead)
Lv 4 = 20 chapters ahead for £8 (currently up to 15 chapters ahead)
For everyone on Lv 2 I have added two chapters to the tier and promise to release the normal 8 chapters or more chapters this month as per usual and will be putting up more chapters on Royal Road to ensure that you are getting new chapters each week.
I apologise for any of the confusion or frustration this has caused

2022-08-08 10:23:28 +0000 UTCTrying to work towards 10 chapters ahead for Lvl 2 while still giving you approx 2 chapters a week. This means I need to write 4 a week throughout August to fill Lv 4 to 20 ahead and release 2 or 3 chapters a week to Royal Road. To keep Lvl 2 moving forward. In the last week, I have written and posted an average month's worth of words for me. Lv 2 has received 3 chapters. I am on holiday but there are other holiday things I need to do. Like childcare and taxes.
