Posting plan for November

Good morning, afternoon or evening,

Patron is something new for me I have had it running for 3 months and finding the right balance between free and paid has been a challenging balancing act. Posting for random reasons on Royal Road slowly cut into my patron chapters and being very busy at work during September and October did not help me to build that lead back up again.

In October I changed the tier system to ‘pay as much as you would like’ not surprisingly the income generated dropped that week from over £1000 a month in September to approximately £500 a month for October. The main reason for changing it was that I was struggling to produce enough chapters per week to feel comfortable with the tier system as it was and it was not worth the stress.

Although I am not writing for the money at the moment I am hoping to possibly transition to it sometime in the future if I can build up a large enough and stable base of supporters. Currently thinking that I will need 5 to 10 times the number of patrons so this is a very long-term goal, see 5-year plan chapter comments.

However, I have managed to produce a few more outlines, plots, and chapters this week on holiday and am hopefully ready to hit my targets for November.

These are as follows the release schedule for November.

Titles are provisional and subject to change depending on where the writing takes me. Finding my notes from March this morning while sitting in the hospital for a baby scan I realise I have left the plotline several times already.  I currently estimate approx. 3000 words per chapter which are longer than what I started with.

1st November  Chapter 40: No time to die   (7 chapters ahead of RoyalRoad at Ch 33)
5th November  Chapter 41: My old enemy   (IRL back to work)

8th November  Chapter 42: A little Lore        (IRL babies due date?)
12th November Chapter 43: Clarification     (9 chapters ahead of RoyalRoad at Ch 34)

15th November Chapter 44 New Training Regime (IRL Paternity leave)  
19th November Chapter 45 Singer                 (10 chapters ahead of RoyalRoad at CH35)

22nd November Chapter 46 Sailor                 (IRL back to work
26th November Chapter 47 Merchant          (11 chapters ahead of RoyalRoad at Ch36)

29th November  Chapter 48 Mage                 (11 chapters ahead of RoyaRoad at Ch 37)

What you choose to pay is ultimately up to you. I have written all of this out in the hopes of explaining where my thoughts are at and to be as upfront as possible.
So you know what to expect this month.

Lv 0 Patrons 2 chapters ahead
Lv 1 Patrons 4 chapters ahead
Lv 2 Patrons 8 chapters ahead   

That works out at 50 pence per chapter

(Lv 4 Patrons as many chapters ahead as I can get up to writing  eg: 16 however I am unsure if I will make it back up to this although that is the aim.)

I am hopefully mentally prepared this time for the 100 patron drop-off at the end of the month. I fully understand those who leave and come back I have to confess to doing it myself as a reader.
