We are in a bad spot -_-

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give you a quick update on what's currently going on with me and the website.

Yesterday, I woke up to some bad news from the main advertising network I’ve been using. They basically demanded that I delete half of our library if we wanted to continue using their services. I'm not sure why they felt the need to make that demand—we haven’t done anything wrong here.

Of course, my response could only be: FUCK NO! Removing 25,000 comics is just too...

Bronze Tier Change -_-

I have some bad news for the bronze members. We have decided to remove this tier since its cost/work is more than the income for several months now.

All bronze mhg accounts will keep their benefits until their pledge runs out. I urge all bronze members to cancel their pledge to not be charged anymore since patreon keeps charging you anyway.

Discord connected!

So the creation of the new discord is done and patreon is linked. You should now be getting invites. Each member has a special role and access to tier related channels. I will also add special badges later on so you can seperate yourself from the common folk, lol

I am thinking of making a new official mhg discord instead of our current fan discord. Are you guys interested in patreon integration with custom roles or is that not necessary?

Blacklisting

You now have the ability to blacklist any tag/artist/parody/group. To not prevent you from accessing these comics they will still show up but they will be censored.  A simple click and you can view anything. The blacklisting setting has been put in your profile page.

New tags?

I have decided that I will end my upload streak at 30 days (2 more to go) and we will go back to regular uploads. So my schedule will open up a bit and I have decided to add new tags to the website. Adding new tags would mean that I will re-read all 35K comics to assign them so the process will be slow for older comics to get these tags. But the new comics will get them during upload.

Should I start adding Japanese hentai doujinshi and manga?

Should I start adding Japanese hentai doujinshi and manga? Currently we have mostly only western comics but there are alot of great doujinshi so I am wondering if you guys want them on the website or not. I can also clearly tag them so you can view or avoid them.

New image viewing

Hi, so that the hidden feature is basically done (1 bug left which will be fixed tomorrow) we can focus on other things. I usually get messages for better image viewing since most find the click to next page outdated and the loading also sucks. I can focus on 1 new viewing option at the moment and I do not know which one to make. (this will be later on be adjustable in account settings for multiple image viewing options such as Scroll, Swipe, Click next page)

Hello, we have completed the hidden comics feature. All tiers above bronze can view these comics. I will add several with each upload until I am up to date. I also added the secret category in the menu for quicker access. Before upgrading, I have to mention there are only 5 comics added now. There will be gradually more added with each normal upload.

Quick update on progress.

Hi guys, a quick update for you while we make progress.

We have made some several profile page changes for easier accessibility. It is now easier to change profile, password and access your favorites.

We also made great progress on the commenting system. It should now be fully implemented on the thumbnail pages and it will be added to all other pages.

Latest poll was pointless (my bad 😖)

Turns out that there are some issues preventing the hidden comics feature. For us to be able to do that, we need to fix a couple of bugs (backend of the website) and work on a bunch of steps so we can actually have hidden comics. I really thought that it would be like 1 step and we are done. It also needs alot more time than I thought.

But do not worry, we already started work on this. We have started working on the native commments + hidden comics in the background.  So...

Hi, we'll start working on the next feature in about a day or two. Because we cannot afford everything at once, we have to choose which one to do first. I think that this decision is best made by the people who will actually use them. So let us know which one you want to see first on the website.

Content request thread!

I get hundreds new comics every week and I currently have over a thousand of comics in my queue. I choose comics randomly to be uploaded but now you can request comics here. Just mention the comic name with the artist and I'll move them up in the queue to be uploaded first. I'll reply with "added" to any request done.
