Initially, I thought I'd hit the jackpot. I mean, demons are supposed to be terrifying, right? Boy, was I in for a rude awakening. Not only did I turn out to be a demon prince with zero talent, looked down on by the royal family and nobles alike, but I also discovered that the entire demon race was in a tight spot.
While other races had long since entered their industrial revolution, demons were left in the dust. Even worse, my kind were often enslaved, especially by humans. Talk about a fall from grace.
So here I am, a reincarnated soul in a world where being a demon isn't all it's cracked up to be, trying to navigate this mess and maybe, just maybe, change things for the better.
