King of Games C29 Attention

Shinro tested the game engine on his company's computers. He couldn't believe his eyes as the system seamlessly handled the incredible graphics and assets, despite the machines not being particularly powerful. The only explanation was his cheat "system," which had optimized the engine's performance.

Intrigued, Shinro delved deeper, experimenting with the engine's capabilities. He created a short animation of an ancient human warrior locked in combat with a ferocious tiger. The 3D models were stunningly detailed, their movements fluid and lifelike, mimicked their counterparts in the "Tiny World" perfectly. Even the lush environment, although toned down to 40% of its original quality, still managed to capture the essence of the miniature world's "Tiny World" creatures and landscapes.

Shinro leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. His system's optimization had worked wonders, allowing the company's modest hardware to run the demanding game engine without breaking a sweat.

The sun had just begun to rise when the employees of KiShin Games trickled into the office, yawning and bleary-eyed. They took their seats in front of their computers, ready to continue their work on "Minecraft" improvements and update it. However, as they opened the KiShin game engine, they were greeted by a pleasant surprise. The interface had undergone drastic improvements since yesterday, and the overall quality left them speechless.

Saito, an experienced game developer, raised an eyebrow. He knew that their small company should not have access to such advanced technology. The game engine boasted a seamless 3D environment with stunning graphics, yet the company's modest computers handled it without breaking a sweat. It was as if a miracle had occurred overnight.

"Where in the world did they get this?" he wondered aloud, his fingers flying across the keyboard, testing the engine's limits. But no matter what he tried, the computer didn't so much as hiccup.

Shinro called a meeting with the Game Development Director, a sparkle in his eyes. "We're working on a new game," he announced.

The room buzzed with anticipation as he revealed the title: "PUBG" or "Player's Unknown Battleground." It would be their first foray into 3D shooting games, and thanks to their newfound game engine capabilities, they could even include realistic movements, behaviors, and more, all taken from the "Tiny World" assets.

The only exceptions were clothing, guns, and some vehicles, which would require custom CGI work.

Meanwhile, as KiShin Games worked tirelessly on their new project, their existing titles, "Super Mario Bros," "Undertale," and "Minecraft," were making waves in the gaming community. The company's success didn't escape the notice of major video game studios in Japan, including the well known Konami, known for hits like "Silent Hill."

In a conference room, Konami's executives gathered around a projector screen, watching an employee play "Minecraft." Blocky landscapes and pixelated characters danced across the white wall.

"Just look at this," one executive said, gesturing at the screen. "It's nothing more than a sophisticated Lego game, yet it's captivating audiences worldwide."

Another executive nodded, steepling his fingers. "I'd wager this small company, KiShin, is raking in quite a profit."

"What do you think, Director Shuichi?" an executive called out, snapping the room's attention to the game development director.

Shuichi blinked, his thoughts still lost in the blocky world of "Minecraft." "Well," he said after a moment, "it's a very well-made game."

The CEO stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Perhaps we should consider acquiring this company, KiShin Games. They've produced three successful titles in a row. It shows potential."

Murmurs of agreement filled the room as the executives exchanged knowing glances. The wheels of a takeover were already in motion.

Besides Konami, Nintendo, Sony Entertainment, Bandai, and even Microsoft took notice.

In the latter's headquarters, employees secretly played "Minecraft" during their breaks, unaware that their actions would soon reach the very top. The higher-ups, instead of reprimanding their staff, became intrigued by the game's addictive nature.

News of this newfound obsession eventually reached the ears of Will Gates himself. Intrigued, he decided to give the game a try. Hours later, he emerged from his office, eyes red with lack of sleep but a spark in his eye.

"Get me in touch with the people at KiShin Games," he said, unable to hide his enthusiasm. "I want to discuss a potential acquisition."

The board of directors exchanged surprised glances, but they knew better than to question their CEO's vision.

---

Shinro's eyes were glued to the progress of their new game, "PUBG." The team had been working tirelessly on creating CGI for weapons, vehicles, and clothing, while also refining the shooting mechanics. It was coming along smoothly, thanks in no small part to their cutting-edge game engine.

In his downtime, he would check up on the "Tiny World" miniature world. King Hirok, the ruler he'd been observing, had met his end, and in his place, a new sovereign named Cronus had taken the throne. This Cronus fellow was nothing if not ambitious, ordering his subjects to construct a colossal tower that would pierce the very heavens themselves. He sought to challenge the God of legends on equal footing.

Shinro couldn't help but smirk at the audacity of these tiny beings. Their ambition, while admirable, was dwarfed by the vastness of the universe they knew nothing about.

Shinro's musings were interrupted by a soft knock on his office door. He blinked, returning to the present as one of his employees informed him, "Sir, there's a Westerner here to see you. He's from a big company called Microsoft."

Shinro raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Yes, sir. Shall I show him in?"

"Please do," Shinro said, curiosity piqued.
Moments later, a tall foreigner with a warm smile entered his office, followed by the employee.

"Konichiwa, my name is Joseph Rook, a representative from Microsoft," he said in flawless Japanese, extending his hand.

Shinro stood and shook it firmly. "Joseph-san, it's a pleasure. I am Shinro Suzuki. To what do I owe this honor?"

Joseph leaned forward, his expression serious. "Mr. Suzuki, I'll be frank. Microsoft is highly impressed with your company's games. We believe KiShin Games has a bright future ahead of it. In fact, we're interested in acquiring your company."
Joseph was confident that no one would turn down an offer from a powerhouse like Microsoft.

Shinro remained silent for a moment before offering Joseph a cup of coffee. "I appreciate the generous offer, but I'm afraid I must decline."

Joseph's eyebrows shot up, but he maintained his composure, taking a sip of the steaming brew. "Mr. Suzuki, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Are you sure you've thought this through?"

Shinro shook his head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Rook, but my answer is no."

"Very well," Joseph said, standing up. "If you ever change your mind, don't hesitate to contact me."

"I'll keep that in mind," Shinro said, though both men knew it was an empty promise.
As the door closed behind Joseph, Shinro chuckled to himself. "Persistent fellow."

The following day, Shinro found himself in a whirlwind of meetings with representatives from Nintendo, Sony Entertainment, Bandai, and even Tencent. Each one tried to woo him with lucrative offers, but he politely declined them all.

He couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the sudden attention. It seemed like everyone wanted a piece of KiShin Games.

To top it off, he received a request from the very company he'd left on sour terms with: Konami. He flat-out refused to meet them.
