King of Games C10 Teleportation

In the center of Giza, throngs of people had gathered, their attention drawn to the pair of high heels adorned with dazzling gemstones on display.

Police patrols were present on the ground, helicopters buzzed overhead, and TV news crews captured the spectacle.

"Mr. Jirokichi Suzuki has prepared these high heels, which are set with the priceless 'Purple Nail' gemstone, as a challenge for the infamous Kaito Kid!" a male Japanese journalist announced to the camera, perched on a rooftop overlooking the bustling scene in Ginza.

As he reported, several men appeared on the rooftop behind him, catching the journalist's attention. "Oya? It seems these are some of Mr. Suzuki's men…"

"You lot, don't interfere with our work!" One of the men on the rooftop shouted at the gathered media.

Below in the Ginza center, Conan wiped the sweat from his brow, amazed by the sea of people. "I didn't think he'd display the treasure here in the middle of Giza," he thought to himself.

Kogorou Mouri, standing behind him, muttered, "It's like he's practically inviting Kid to come and take it."

Ran nodded in agreement and turned to Sonoko, who was beside her. "Are you sure this is alright, Sonoko?"

Sonoko nodded enthusiastically, "Hmm! All I want is for Kid-sama to show up and catch a glimpse of him. That's enough for me…"

Ran sighed, feeling a bit helpless. "Sonoko…"

Sonoko just smiled as she glanced at her uncle, "Well, it seems that Uncle Jirokichi has something up his sleeve—" before she could finish her words, she noticed someone beside him and was pleasantly surprised, "Wait— is that Shinro-oniichan?"

"What is it, Sonoko?" Ran asked, curious.

Sonoko couldn't contain her excitement and rushed over to Jirokichi and the others, with Ran, Conan, and Mouri following close behind.

As they got closer, they overheard Inspector Nakamori and Jirokichi conversing.

Shinro, with his hands in his pockets, was waiting for Kaito Kid to make an appearance, finish his business, and then he would receive the animal blood samples he needed for his "Tiny World" project from his uncle.

"Shinro-oniichan?!"

Startled out of his thoughts, he turned to see Sonoko, accompanied by Conan, Ran, and Mouri.

"Oh? Sonoko-chan. What's up?" Shinro greeted them casually.

Sonoko's face flushed, feigning annoyance. "Shinro-oniichan! You've been away for a year, and that's how you're going to greet your cute little sister?"

Shinro chuckled, "You're not 'little' anymore."
"You have a big brother, Sonoko?" Ran interjected, quite surprised. Conan also scrutinized Shinro, sharing her curiosity.

"Hmm! Shinro-oniichan became independent after he finished his course," Sonoko explained, nodding.

"Oh, I see…" Ran said, understanding dawning on her face.

"So, what are you doing here, onii-chan? Are you also waiting for Kid-sama?" Sonoko asked Shinro with a smile.

Shinro chuckled as the crowd chanted Kaito Kid's name. "I'm here to help Uncle Jirokichi catch Kaito Kid."

Sonoko and the others were taken aback. "Wow, really?"

"Hehe, even if you helped uncle, there's no way both of you could catch kid-sama," Sonoko said, sounding confident.

Conan, who didn't know much about Shinro, also doubted that his addition would make a difference in catching Kaito Kid.

Meanwhile, Jirokichi left Inspector Nakamori with a smirk, who shouted after him, "What strategy?"

Nakamori tried to follow Jirokichi but tripped on a bump in the ground. Curious, he looked down and noticed a line surrounding the center of the area.

Meanwhile, Shinro excused himself, "Well, I'm going to the news truck with Uncle Jirokichi. We need to observe Kaito Kid from there."

As he was about to leave, Conan raised his hand, "Can I come too, Shinro-oniichan?"
"Conan, Shinro-san is here to work— it's not for children," Ran said, trying to dissuade him.

"Hehe, I'm just curious to see what's inside the news truck!" Conan tried to reason.

Shinro studied Conan for a moment before relenting, "Alright, kid. Just don't cause any trouble, alright?"

"Yay!" Conan started to celebrate but was hit on the head by Kogorou.

"Haha, I apologize for this kid, Shinro-san," Kogorou said, apologetically, as Conan rubbed the bump on his head.

"It's no problem at all, Kogorou-san," Shinro said, smiling.

Then, Shinro led the way to the news truck, with Conan in tow.

Jirokichi noticed Shinro enter but was too preoccupied with the screens, waiting for Kaito Kid to appear.

Conan looked around and deduced that the control for the trap around the center of Giza must be inside the news truck, judging by the serious expressions on the operators' faces.

Suddenly, the crowd in the center of Ginza cheered even louder as Kaito Kid appeared in the sky, gliding in on a hang glider.

Kid landed gracefully on top of the treasure display.

As Kaito Kid was approached by the journalists, Conan saw Jirokichi trembling with excitement, a smirk on his face. "Okay, now!" he shouted.

Instantly, the taped line surrounding the center of Ginza burst open, and a net shot upwards.

The crowd in the center of Ginza, as well as those watching live at home, were stunned by the sudden development.

Seeing the net, Conan's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh, it's a net! They've surrounded the area with a gigantic net!" a reporter on top of a nearby building exclaimed.

Conan assessed the situation, "It's at least 20 meters high... Unless you have a hot air balloon or something, there's no way through this net."

"Hahaha! I've got you this time, Kaito Kid! What do you think, Shinro?" Jirokichi laughed, clearly proud of himself.

"We haven't caught him yet, uncle," Shinro cautioned, smiling.

"Hahaha! It's only a matter of time now! We'll capture him!" Jirokichi laughed confidently.

He then explained that with the helicopters patrolling and the high net, it would be impossible for Kaito Kid to escape.

Kaito Kid, meanwhile, was being interviewed by a female reporter. Some of his fans were willing to create a distraction for him to escape, but Kaito Kid signaled them to stay calm. Instead, he claimed he would teleport his way out.

Hearing this, Conan, Jirokichi, and everyone else who heard him were stunned.

Kaito Kid's fans cheered even louder.
Jirokichi's men and Inspector Nakamori tried to apprehend Kaito Kid, but as they closed in, smoke filled the area, and they only caught air.

Everyone was taken by surprise, except for Conan, Jirokichi, and Shinro, who knew Kaito Kid must be blending in with the crowd.

Conan left the news truck, and Shinro smirked to himself, "And… the game of cat and mouse begins."

Helicopters circled the area, but Jirokichi noticed the tracker was moving erratically, flying in circles.

Helicopters circled above, but Jirokichi noticed the tracker was moving erratically, flying in circles. Shinro realized the tracker must have been planted on something else.

Suddenly, two cards flew out of nowhere. The first one read "TWO," and the second one, "ONE."

Moments later, Kaito Kid reappeared on a nearby rooftop with a puff of smoke.
Jirokichi was stunned, "What!?"

Conan and the others were just as shocked.
"It must be Kaito Kid's double! He's still blending in the crowd!" Jirokichi insisted.

Shinro, however, disagreed. "No, uncle. I think it's the real Kaito Kid."

"How can you explain him appearing there suddenly!?" Jirokichi asked, wide-eyed.

"Uncle, calm down. Didn't we station men on the rooftops of the surrounding buildings?" Shinro reminded him.

"Oh, right!" Jirokichi had a moment of realization. "Contact the men on the rooftops! Catch Kaito Kid!"

"Yes, sir!" the operators replied, springing into action.

Kaito Kid, on the rooftop, chuckled at the cheering crowd, but to his surprise, he noticed several men closing in on him. "There are men here too?"

With no time to deliver his usual message, Kaito Kid composed himself and took off with his hang glider, leaving behind a card for them to find.

The card flew straight into the hands of one of Jirokichi's men, who read the message aloud. Kaito Kid will return, as one of 'Purple Nails' is a replica. The media nearby in the rooftop caught a glimpse of the note and fans cheered even louor.

Noticing this, Jirokichi's men quickly dispersed the media and headed back down to meet with Jirokichi.

"A pity, my men were too late. They could be more observant," Shinro sighed.

Jirokichi was also frustrated with his men but brushed it aside for now. "I underestimated Kaito Kid this time... I didn't think stationing men on the rooftops would have been useful," he admitted, glancing at Shinro.

Shinro smirked. "I told you, uncle. That kid always has tricks up his sleeves." He extended his hand. "Now that I've done my part, give me the animal blood samples."

Reluctantly, Jirokichi handed over the blood samples.

"I can help you again, but if I manage to get back the treasure from Kaito Kid, I'd like to keep it. What do you think?" Shinro proposed. The "Purple Nail" was worth a fortune after all.

"You're interested in 'Purple Nail'?" Jirokichi asked, and Shinro nodded. Jirokichi chuckled. "You see how cunning that thief is. Do you really think you can retrieve the treasure from him?"
