King of Games C9 Plan to catch the Kid
Added 2024-04-22 13:04:30 +0000 UTCThe video game "Super Mario Bros" has already gained 82,000 downloads— with such downloads, Shinro shouldn't have been able to accumulate 20,000 system points, but he managed to do so by exploiting a loophole. He updated the game on Steam, and every time a user who had already bought and downloaded the game updated it, it counted as a new download by [Genesis System]. As a result, Shinro took advantage of this loophole and continuously updated his game, but he found out that this method wouldn't work anymore after the third time. Additionally, Shinro also earned system points through tasks that rewarded him with points issued by the system itself.
The game is doing exceptionally well so far. In fact, PewDiePie's video of him playing "Super Mario Bros" has reached 769 thousand views in just five days, which is quite impressive even for him, considering he only had a hundred thousand subscribers at this time.

In Jirokichi's mansion, Jirokichi slammed his fist on the desk, causing the papers to fly everywhere. "Damn it! This won't do at all!" he exclaimed angrily. His men stood by helplessly, unsure of how to console their enraged boss.
"A plan like this is useless!" Jirokichi shouted, gripping the paper tightly in his hand. "We're up against the notorious 'Magician Under the Moonlight,' the greatest thief kid! What makes you think such half-baked measures would work against him?" Jirokichi placed a hand on his chest, sweating profusely from the forehead.
His men exchanged worried glances as Jirokichi continued to rant about his obsession with capturing Kaito Kid. He tapped on his smartphone, and a nearby treasure chest opened automatically. Inside, there were a pair of high-heeled footwear and a 10-carat amethyst called the "Purple Nail."
Jirokichi's men couldn't help but admire the glistening "Purple Nail" and began to discuss the history of the high-heeled footwear. One of Jirokichi's subordinates tried to share his plan, but Jirokichi cut him off, visibly irritated. "You guys are not helpful at all…"
Jirokichi then decided to call his nephew, Shinro. As one of his men tried to speak up, Jirokichi gestured for silence as his phone rang. "I'm calling my nephew. Unlike you lot, he actually has a brain," he said, insulting his men and making them feel even more helpless.
"Where the heck are you, brat? Why aren't you here yet?" Jirokichi barked into the phone as Shinro answered.
Shinro, who was on his way to Jirokichi's residence, replied helplessly, "I'll be there in a few minutes, uncle. Chill out."
After a brief conversation, Shinro hung up and soon arrived at the gate of Jirokichi's mansion. A man in black approached him and asked, "Who are you, sir?"
Shinro showed his ID and said, "I'm Shinro Suzuki. I'm Jirokichi's nephew."
The man was taken aback but checked Shinro's ID nonetheless. He then called someone inside the mansion to confirm and, upon receiving Jirokichi's approval, allowed Shinro to enter through the gate.
As Shinro walked towards the mansion, he couldn't help but marvel at its grandeur. It was a testament to just how wealthy his uncle Jirokichi was.
As Shinro made his way inside, Jirokichi's men led him to the room where Jirokichi was discussing something with his subordinates. Upon seeing Shinro, Jirokichi's eyes lit up.
"You're here, Shinro," he said, sounding relieved.
Shinro sighed and put his hands in his pockets. "You're still obsessed with this Kaito Kid guy, huh? You're pretty persistent after losing to him just a few months ago." Shinro had done some research on Jirokichi and Kaito Kid, finding countless results about their previous encounter, the one where Kaito Kid seemingly walked in mid-air. Netizens were trying to debunk the trick, but to no avail.
"Alright, brat. I didn't call you here to lecture me," Jirokichi said, visibly annoyed. "I called you here to help me catch this thief."
Shinro sighed and said, "Alright, let me hear your plan, uncle."
Jirokichi shook his head. "These men prepared a plan for me, but it's all nonsense. I haven't come up with anything yet."
Shinro raised an eyebrow. "Well, why do you want to catch Kaito Kid so badly?"
Jirokichi slammed his fist on the table, enraged. "I've been having nightmares about that kid for weeks now! He's mocking me in my dreams! I want to catch Kaito Kid in front of everyone and show the world that I captured him, using the bait I prepared specifically for him!" Jirokichi then showed
Shinro the pair of high-heeled shoes.
Shinro couldn't help but admit, "They do look expensive."
"I don't care how expensive they are," Jirokichi growled. "As long as I catch that kid, nothing else matters!"
Shinro felt the corner of his mouth twitch. 'This old man is really obsessed,' he thought to himself.
After discussing with Jirokichi and his men, Jirokichi wondered aloud why Kaito Kid always appeared with the moon behind him. One of Jirokichi's men simply brushed it off, saying it was probably part of Kaito Kid's act, and besides, the moon would always be in the sky, especially when he landed on a building.
Then, Jirokichi had an epiphany. "We'll set a trap in the middle of Ginza, in front of the crowd, and lure Kaito Kid into it!" he exclaimed. "That way, I can catch him in broad daylight and show everyone that I've captured him!"
Jirokichi looked at Shinro, seeking his approval. "What do you think, Shinro? It's a great plan, right? Do you have anything to add?"
Shinro considered the plan for a moment before speaking up. "There are some holes in your plan, uncle. I'm not saying they're bad, but if I were Kaito Kid, I would see loopholes or opportunities in the trap you've set."
Jirokichi and his men fell silent, realizing Shinro had a point.
Shinro continued, "If I were Kaito Kid, the crowded streets of Ginza would actually be an advantage for me."
Jirokichi stroked his chin and countered, "Then we'll set up a net to trap him in the center—there, Kaito Kid will be trapped with no way out. Even his hang glider won't be able to fly him out of the net."
Shinro nodded, remembering an episode from "Detective Conan" vaguely. "That's not a bad idea, but I doubt that alone would be enough to catch Kaito Kid. You see, from my research, Kaito Kid doesn't work alone during his heists."
Jirokichi nodded, remembering the previous heist. "You're right. Just like last time, when Kaito Kid's assistant controlled the helicopter. But this time, we'll be more careful. We won't let them infiltrate our forces again. Hah, I think I've got Kaito Kid this time."
Shinro agreed cautiously. "I'm here to help you, uncle. But we can't underestimate him. He is a magician, after all. There's always a trick up his sleeve."
Jirokichi nodded, "What do you suggest, Shinro?"
Shinro took a pen and started drawing on the simple illustration Jirokichi had made. He drew a square representing a building and then added X's on the rooftops of the surrounding buildings. "Besides the men surrounding the treasure, we should also station men on the rooftops of the buildings around the center."
Jirokichi and his men were taken aback by this suggestion.
"Why should we do that, young master?" one of Jirokichi's men asked. Another man added, "I don't see the point…"
Jirokichi also wanted to know, "What's the purpose of that, Shinro?"
Shinro stroked his chin as he explained, "I have a feeling that one of the buildings in the surrounding area will be vital to Kaito Kid's escape…"
Jirokichi raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
Shinro nodded. "A magician like Kaito Kid would have planned his escape the moment he saw your trap. He's too cunning to walk into a trap unless he's confident he can escape. I have a hunch that one of the buildings in the vicinity will play a crucial role in his escape."
Jirokichi and his men fell silent, considering Shinro's words. Although Jirokichi believed his original plan would have been enough, he couldn't deny that his nephew's suggestion made sense.
Jirokichi tapped his chin, deep in thought. "You might be onto something, Shinro. Alright, we'll do as you say. We'll station men on the rooftops of the surrounding buildings as well." He turned to his men and barked out orders. "You heard the boy! Double the guards on the rooftops of the buildings around the center, and make sure there's no escape route for Kaito Kid!"
His men nodded and rushed to follow his orders, leaving the room one by one.
