Disintegrity 37 remade !

It's kinda sad when the thing that takes the longest about redoing the page is... the dialog. The thing that can just be typed out and doesn't require much effort when it comes to making it look good, which is the point of this remake anyway...

Well let's talk about the changes before I harp on how long it all took. First of all, this is another page where nothing remains of the old one. Nothing, not a line, not a background, not even any letter. It's100% new.

I changed the angle on panel 1 cos I just felt like it. No real reason. In a way I perhaps should have redone it the way it was so that the first panel of page 39 would be the same angle but with a less angry Larsen... It doesn't matter too much tho. And it goes better with panel 2 which doesn't show Zee's expression anymore.

Panel 3 sees Zee's expression changed quite a bit. He's less angry, more desperate, as is reflected by the dialog. He's less making genuine demands and more making pleas. In the old comic, both this scene and one at the very end are Zee pushing Larsen down aggressively to impose a point of view upon him which I thought was repetitive, so I modified this one to contrast with the latter one a little more. I think. Maybe I'm ot sure.

The last two panels are basically the same excet they're shaped weird. To give the impression of time passing, the confusion of Larsen while he deliberates until he takes a decision as to what to do. The "no signal" on the TV is still SUUUUPER SUBTLE symbolism that Larsen is not making himself clear.

Also he's blushing now so the nature of the decision is hinted at a little more. And around the panel some orange bubble are strewn, it's the color that'll replaces the white background of the page when things start getting steamy.

So that's that. One of the hardest pages to redo to be honest.
