MC French Kiss bts pt1
Added 2025-07-12 18:08:28 +0000 UTCSome bts of one of the looks we did last summer. I am gonna upload one look per clip as usual, although I dont have that much clip material for every outfit, so maybe some gonna be mixed together to keep it more interesting for the post :)
Outdoor shoots are often more challenging, cause you cant go simply with available light and have same results through different times of the day because light is changing, sun is harsh from above, you have some great hours for sun and some annoying difficult hours, also clouds can appear any moment and you still have to keep going.
My approach for this campaign was to use sunlight through early and late hours of the day, and help myself with a simple white/silver reflector while shooting with sun behind/above the model to have control about the direction of sunlight on the model. For this outfit we used a reflector only. In other clips you will see that I also used profoto flash lights to fill the shadows on pictures with straight sun on the model to achieve a more edgy but pleasing look, and also having flashlights as main light and sun being behind/above the model.
