2022-01-26 06:24:03 +0000 UTCOh, one more thing, I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE Clara, but I honestly think her portrayal in this story was more a meta-style mirror of fandom's reaction at the time to there being an 'old Doctor' being cast (which pissed me off, as I've been a huge fan of Capaldi's for ages, plus I'm a Classic series fan and he's much more like the Classic Doctors) than particularly in-character for Clara. Thankfully, they ease off on that as we go forward and they, for me, ultimately become my favorite Team TARDIS of the modern series. P.S. Oh, and if the companions and the Doctor not having a 'warm fuzzy' relationship is a big issue, the Classic series is going to be a bit of a challenge at times. ;)
