Over the years I've drawn a few cards for my wife for romantic events and holidays throughout the year (you can see some of the past ones HERE).
This year for Valentine's Day I drew for the love of my life, her love of her life--our three cats which I thought she might enjoy an updated drawing of (she did). Was actually pretty happy with how the drawing turned out so I thought I'd share it here. Below is a photo of it and opened up inside. My nine-year-old picked out the roses behind it. Said they looked like flames. He's not wrong!

And it only makes sense along with sharing this drawing/card that I also share a bunch of recent photos of said cats.
So here's our rambunctious, ornery cat, Neptune, in a rare posing stance:

(He can be sweet when he's finished knocking down everything in my studio)

His fluffy, always hungry, wide-eyed brother, Apollo:

(Apollo know how to spend a Caturday)
And our eldest little princess, Vanellope, who only really cares for my wife and not the rest of us peasants.

I rather like this pic of her from this past Christmas:

She was posing so well, we were able to get this little Santa hat on her. It lasted 0.05 seconds. Can't believe we were able to snap a pic.

Anyhoo, they all love each other and get along which is pretty great. They are the best cats because they are our cats and that's what everyone says about their cats. Even the nightmare ones.
