Hi, friends! I wanted to give you all a first look at the piece I painted for the annual HeroesCon auction this year. I think my first time drawing Deadpool? Might have enjoyed drawing Wolvie a little more. I just love how surly he is. Looking forward to seeing them banter back and forth on a movie screen next month.
To be honest, with all the craziness this season, wasn't sure if I'd have time to do draw something for the auction or not. Heroes is my favorite convention though and I've always made an effort to contribute some art to help, if ever so minimal, ensure that the show sticks around for many years to come. Ended up sacrificing a day of comics work but happy I did since it ended up being a very much needed relaxing afternoon sitting in front of a sunny window while I worked on it. Made it a little larger than normal too (9x12), which was fun. Hope it does well!
My table this year is once again in Indie Island, 1117. It's almost exactly where I was last year, pretty much smack dab in the middle of Artist Alley facing the venders and entrance. I'll try to remember to share a pic once I get all set up. Bringing my family with me this year so I'm excited.

(I guess now we know who shot all those arrows--haha)
I think the auction is held Saturday night in the Westin ballroom for those planning on being there. I'll likely be outside the auction room since it can get a little too loud in there for my comfort levels. But you might see me hanging around in the lobby/hallways with a beer in my hand. If so, don't be afraid to come over and say hello. That's why I'm there. 🙂
ALSO! All of your preordered prints arrived yesterday! The fam and I are leaving tomorrow and then taking a little week-long side trip after the show but I'll have your orders shipped out shortly after I get home at the end of June. Already have them pulled aside. Thanks again!
❤️
