Daily Doodle - 11/19/2019 - Mane-tenance
Added 2019-11-20 00:39:20 +0000 UTCI have dubbed this white lion "Maija" (Mai-ya, not Mai-jer") She's trying to see what a ponytail will look like if she keeps some of her mane long. I feel like she's about to start, or has started estrogen not long ago, to feel more like herself. Trimming her mane makes her anxious and she has to do it once a week. She frets it might not look natural if cut too short or shaved too uniform, so she resorts to using blunt scissors instead of an electric razor - And when you used to have a full mane from the top of your head to your lower chest, it can be a bit of a time bleed. Nonetheless, it's worth it to her.
