It's been super hot here lately and he cannot seem to connect that standing in the direct sunlight makes him unpleasantly warm, despite having walked through the shade and to the area of direct sunlight multiple times.
At first I thought he was biting at flies until I realized in multiple instances that there were absolutely no bugs near him.
Merlin's mental solution is to bite at the pain. On his body.
He doesn't bite hard but boy, do I pity his brain cogs.
