#1 Progress Report 2023/12/29

It has been two weeks since the release of 'Sister Virodar,' and we have received a lot of feedback and support! Thank you all very much! Regarding the upcoming game development process, I have some ideas that I would like to share with you.

About Enemies

Firstly, there will be more types of enemies, and more enemies mean more CG scenes. I have a long-term plan for enemies. The protagonist, Virodar, will adventure in various places in the game, such as villages, sewers, libraries, etc., and corresponding enemies will be present in these different scenes. In the short term, however, I noticed that using magic attacks makes it too easy to complete the game. Therefore, I believe there should be added challenges for players. I hope to introduce some synergies among enemies.

For example, existing two enemies can have a certain level of synergy. Specifically, a heretical nun can cast magic to strengthen a zombified nun, increasing the attributes of the zombie nun (mainly movement speed, in my opinion). At the same time, I also want to add a more powerful enemy capable of causing ranged damage to the player. Currently, I am thinking of a nun possessed by tentacles. Additionally, as an opposing force to the nuns, succubi are something I really want to introduce as enemies. I believe they will be powerful and enticing, with different personalities, similar to boss characters. They will attempt to seduce the nuns.

Game Experience Optimization

Secondly, game experience optimization is essential. Thanks to all the feedback, I've noticed several shortcomings in the game. For example—

Therefore, in the next version, I will make some modifications to address these issues. Additionally, I hope to add controller support for 'Sister Virodar.' To accommodate controller operations, I think the UI will need improvement, and I want players to be able to adjust settings through the keyboard even if they don't use a mouse.

More Game Content

Regarding game content, there are still some elements from my imagination that haven't been added to the game. The church is a small base where Virodar and her nun companions usually stay. Here, there can be many expandable features, including resource management gameplay related to ammunition and food, collecting materials for weapon and magic upgrades, and interacting with in-game NPCs, among other things. I believe these additions can enrich the game world and Virodar's character. These features will be gradually introduced in future updates, with more detailed explanations at that time. Game polishing is a continuous process, and as more content is added, we will continue to optimize.

Character Voiceovers

I am also considering adding voiceovers to the game, although I don't have specific ideas yet. Voiceovers are a crucial part of the game, but I believe that currently, there are too few NPCs and CG scenes in the game. Therefore, adding voiceovers is important but not the top priority at the moment. Additionally, if any of you have recommendations for voice actors, please feel free to let me know!

Thank you for your suggestion! We do have this idea. Different attacks have different damage coefficients for different enemies, but the current version has not yet reflected it!
