The new Tier structure for 2025
Added 2025-01-02 19:26:09 +0000 UTCAs already announced in this news post the cost of operation has been increasing (due to various factors) and so we are forced to adjust our pricing model to keep up with it. We've asked you in this poll which features you actually use daily, as we don't want to include any privacy invading tracking in our software.
Based on the results of that poll, we came to the conclusion of this tier structure:
Edit: Looks like we accidentally cut out 3D Transform from this image of the table. 3D Transform is included in Standard!
Standard at 7.50€ (excl. Taxes), intended for the small time streamer or those only using basic features.
Creator at 15.00€ (excl. Taxes), intended for the established streamer and/or those needing the extra features.
Studio at 30.00€ (excl. Taxes), intended for creators with a team, and also includes priority text, voice and e-mail support for up to 3 seats/users.
We've decided on the prices for these based on the number of users and the difficulty of maintaining and/or improving the features. As it is still early in the year, currently only Studio has actual binary releases until we adjust the build system to match.
However unlike the past years, it is now unfeasible to continue the previous tiers as normal. Due to the rising cost, we are forced to eventually stop offering new binaries to supporters still on the old Bronze, Copper, Silver, and Gold tiers. This is likely to happen before Q4 2025 for monthly supporters, and will definitely happen at the end of 2025 for yearly supporters.
On a personal note from me (Xaymar), keep voting for conservative or liberal parties people, it's very clearly working in your favor! For those voting for more normal parties, sorry for all of this - it's either this or close doors in May 2025.

We've actually lowered the entry level price from 11.00€ (Silver) to 7.50€ (Standard) - not sure what that'd be in US dollar with local VAT applied. It's understandable if this is still to high for you, but we can't go any lower than that right now. We wish you the best in your content creation endeavors.

I understand that it can be costly to continue supporting a growing project, and I'm sorry that you've had to make the decision to increase your prices. Unfortunately these new prices make it in-feasible for me to continue supporting StreamFX. Paying $9/mth to access Encoders and Sinks is a lot. Good luck with your future endeavors

2025-01-02 21:46:55 +0000 UTCIt is not required to have an active subscription to us to continue using StreamFX, VoiceFX or anything we release via Patreon. We've already added a note to each tier that explains this. Only when you want to upgrade to a more recent build is when you need to subscribe for that month.

2025-01-02 19:51:02 +0000 UTCI'm really sorry for this raise on prices. I can't afford paying this - on my currency, the conversion multiplies the value by 6.3, which is a ridiculous amount of money to spend monthly for whatever this plugin offers. Goodbye.
