Welcome to 2025: Higher Taxes, Insurance, Fees, and politics messing things up

With inflation already being record high and causing one price hike in 2024, I had hoped that it could be avoided for 2025 - but I didn't count on politics throwing a wrench into that plan. With health insurance rates jumping by roughly 25% (thanks Jens Spahn), the taxes nearly doubling, inflation still being at roughly 10%, and other fees increasing, it's not looking great.

To put it into perspective, the current 11€/mo price (before tax) would allow Vhonowslend to survive until roughly a third into 2025. We'd need to increase the price to 19,50€/mo (before tax) to be able to make it through 2025 and still make a net gain over expenses. That's a near 80% increase just to make ends meet. It's likely that we'll have to split StreamFX into tiers of features, as the current model is no longer survivable - for you and for us.

Hopefully the people will stop voting for political parties that very clearly favor billionaires over smaller businesses and individuals. Otherwise we're looking at an economic depression far bigger than anyone expects. But hey, capitalism FTW amirite?

Edit: Forgot to mention, if the Trump tariffs will happen, users in the USA will have to expect another 20% price hike - even if you didn't vote for it.
