Fixes & Improvements

• A fallback ring/cyclic/circular buffer for Hosts without a proper manifest (Reaper) is now implemented, which supports everything from Windows XP to Windows 8.1. The fallback implementation is significantly slower and more prone to failure, but usually tends to work fine after a few attempts - internally the code tries 255 times, and it tends to work within the first 10 attempts.

• The logging is now less verbose and should no longer cause unusual stuttering on weaker systems. Owners of affected systems should probably invest in a HDD or SSD from the last 20 years, as a few hundred bytes per second in buffered writes shouldn't cause your system to stutter.

• Installing the plugin(s) should now be slightly faster as the step that would download and install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables has been removed entirely. Since v0.2, we've been building with it statically linked into the .dll/.vst3 file anyway, so this step should have been removed ages ago.

• The InnoSetup installer version was updated and now properly detects ARM64 systems with x64 emulation. Not sure if this is helpful, as I don't know if there even is a ARM64+x64ec system with a supported NVIDIA GPU.

• All known crash locations are now handled "correctly", in the way that we tell the host that something went wrong, and then do nothing. This prevents crashing bad hosts (like OBS Studio and Reaper) which ignore all return codes and just continue on as if nothing happened at all.

Known Issues

• Only 48kHz is supported for processing at the current time.

• In some VST2 hosts, the User Interface does not appear at all.

• Initial work on the User Interface for both VST2 and VST3 versions is included - but still not functional.

• Buffer sizes above 48000 samples will cause odd issues. I don't plan on supporting that.
