WIP: This is going to be a long one!

Good morning! Weekly update of my next video. I am SO excited for this one!!!

As I've mentioned in my last update, it's not a cutscene-style video and I'm experimenting with a lot of things, so it's hard to be able to tell how long it will take. I'm giving myself a month to do it without rushing anything, but it could be a little more, could be a little less. I don't have a layout ready like I usually have to plan out every scene, but every day I come with with new ideas I want to add in! So I'm doing it as I go and putting it together a bit at a time.

There's also a lot of characters for this one, which is good because I will have a lot of characters rigged by the end of it! Other than Lizard and G'raha, now there's Erenville, Thancred, Urianger, Alphinaud and Aymeric. I already animated a little bit with Erenville, here:

The Viera rig for some reason comes with a whole bunch of bones for the head that apparently do nothing, but there's also a lot more controllers for the hair, so I just had to experiment with it! Look closely at that one strand of hair that moves separatedly on top of the rest of the hair (screen-left). There's a bone just for that. WHY?! ...well, why not. Let's use it, then.
I'm pretty sure there's a way in Blender to make hair movement as a simulation, but I actually enjoy the process of just animating it "by hand". But I should try to learn how to do that for clothing someday...so far, even cloth movement I've been doing by adding bones to the rig.

Instead of a full story, it's a lot of short clips with each character that I will be editting together in a...trailer. For a thing. I'm trying not to spoil it yet but it's so hard! I want to talk about it!!! :P

I DO have a suitable date in mind to post it, which would also help me justify why G'raha isn't the only focus this time...but it's still a little bit far away. If I finish it earlier I will think about what to do then. This would have been perfect for Valentine's Day video also, but I missed the date! I blame my country for celebrating it in june...

And just so I don't feel weird about it, G'raha will always have the most scenes and be the main character! 

I'm collecting and learning how to do every glitter and spark effect I can think of to add to those! Is it sparkly enough?

I have also been spending lots of time searching for voice clips that I can take out of context to use here, which is something I don't usually keep track of. I try to record most of the animation and editting process with OBS, but I don't keep track of the time I spend researching, recording things in game and gathering reference and clips.

Anyway, I am SO excited for this. You know when you have and idea that you just want to see it be real?! Just like the G'raha inn kiss scene, it's one of those cases of "FINE, SE, I will do it myself!". I'm pouring a lot of love into this one, and I will do my best so it's good enough for you all as well! I can't wait to share more!
