2024 Year in Review and Moving Forward

TL/DR: Some stats, real life has kept me inactive, things are better atm and will keep painting when possible.

Every year, I like to take a look back and reflect on my art and see how things have changed.

Here's an image of all the favorite pieces of each month. Some of them only had one art set (which I'll get into later) but they're still my favorites.

Here's also some statistics! Hope you don't mind the abbreviations.

I did 45 art sets.

24 FE, 4 AL, 4 HSR, 3 GBF, 3 ZZZ, 2 FF, 1 DL, 1 AR, 1 UO, 1 GI, 1 Pokemon

18 Pai, 12 seggs, 9 pinups, 3 thighs, 2 succ, 1 handy.

These stats don't include the daily sketches, memes, and WIP's I've posted, which there are a lot of.

Personal thoughts - Although I am still a huge Fire Emblem fan, I'd like to buff up numbers in other categories. I know my WIP's addresses these, but there's been a huge issue on getting these done...which I'll explain now.

I haven't been too active in the last third of 2024 and I am incredibly sorry for that. I won't go into too much detail, but there was a serious family problem that needed my attention. Every time I thought the problem was solved, it only got worse. To say it's been difficult is an understatement, but things are better now than they have been.

Because of that, my plans for this year is to just take things one day at a time. I don't want to talk about major goals because I don't want to risk disappointment if I'm not able to finish them. In January, last year, I made seven art sets. In December, I only made one. Once I'm able to make multiple artworks again within a month, then I'll know things are back to normal. For now, all I can do is continue trying to paint whenever possible.

If you're still reading this, thank you. Thank you for your support and thank you for the kind words along the way. Sorry that I haven't been active and sorry to those I've left disappointed. I will keep trying my best to paint and grow as an artist while trying to make real life stuff easier to handle. I wish there was a way to properly convey my thanks and apologies, but all I can try and do is make all of you proud and happy to be here.

This post feels too much of a bummer, but it's probably best to get it out of my system so I can start the year fresh.
