Should I take time to learn how to animate my work?

Soo topic, should I? They'll be in Live2D format. If I pull it off, I'll be replacing the variants with animated versions instead of multiple images.
It's not exactly easy to jump into because it takes time to animate. It's also a slight financial burden because I'll have to pay for the apps monthly subscriptions.
There's also the chance I might not like it.
However! There's a chance I might like it and at the very least, I'll have paid for better a program to help me record/make videos of my painting process.
Anyway, just wanted to ask to see what others think.
