Another announcement for my Patrons

Hello to all of my Patrons and free members. I wanted to take some time from my busy schedule to let you guys in on the updates that are exclusive to the Patrons. Drastic changes have occurred one after another and I just want to clear my head about these situations.

One of the biggest changes is my prioritizing on the game. Though this Patreon has nothing to do with the production of the volleyball game, it has affected the production of the animated project. Right now the mornings are set for the animated project and commissions, but I am planning to give some of the morning time to the volleyball game. The animated project is at standstill right now, my financial situation is still in the red even after a year, and things in my personal life are getting more complicated. The animated project is my slowest of all the projects due its meticulous nature. That is to say, I'm still trying to figure out the art style even after half a year. I guess I'm being a perfectionist, but I really do want to make something special. While the YouTube videos are quick and simple, this animated project is going to be the opposite. In fact, I dare say, I want to make something that changes everything. To make something that nobody has ever seen. It's going to be something really special. That is my ambition.

But at this point, this is all a luxury compared to my situation. Besides, I also have been thinking about the manpower and hours it will require and I feel like it's best if I don't work on it alone. That I should really get a staff to help me out. But that would require a lot of money that I don't have. I don't even have any money to pay myself. All the money I'm earning from Compact Touhou is going to living expenses and even that is not enough. I have to get help from my sister to make ends meet, which is coming to an end soon. I really need to figure out how to make substantial income and I feel like the game will be able to do just that. If I can make the game a success, then the opportunity to buy the time I need to get this animated project off the ground is really possible and even get the help I need to achieve it.

So right now things will be silent for the next few months here on Patreon. The only real activity will be these announcements every now and again and the Touhou 8 Parody, which I still intend to make a scene for every month. Things are really rocky right now and I need all the help I can get.

I thank you all for supporting Compact Touhou during these trying times, but the goal is very near. Much more near than ever. I just got to keep working hard until that goal is reached when I can finally relax and alleviate this tension. This has been a long time coming for me personally, after years of struggling. I finally feel like that decade of trying to make something of myself is finally coming to fruition. I just gotta keep going for a bit more.
