After quite a bit of planning and redrawing, it was finally done - and served as a tutorial piece for 3dtotal's latest instructional book along side many other artists' work.
Needless to say I'm unfortunately not at liberty to actually reveal and review everything I wrote in that capacity, but the regular breakdown and walkthrough is still on the menu!

I think sometimes it's very important to identify exactly why the sketch is not acceptable - is it because the inital idea turns out not as good as you thought? Or are you facing difficulties with lighting the scene,etc. Only when you know this then it's possible to work through it with purpose! I encounter it often when beginning sets, choosing between a lot of options for the 4 frames is tough and can take many sketches too.

I don't know if you've ever been in a similar situation, but I wanted to ask you what you do when you're in a bottleneck to get through it.
