It was a set I wanted to challenge myself with, working with 2 characters throughout, using a very specific lighting scheme as well as replicating an existing setting accurately. It was really tiring! But I learnt a lot too as well :)

Happy new year to you too! I'm glad you find these helpful :) That idea is a really good one - especially if the story is enhanced by it as well, like showing how time passes through the change in lighting.

The natural lighting aspect is very interesting. Have you ever tried something like an early morning or late evening setting where you see the natural light change while time is passing between the individual scenes in the set? I'm not sure if that would work but your discussion on the topic generated some curiosity.
