Sometimes it feels really easy to under-paint a piece and have it turn out too bland, but when you manage to pack in enough interesting stuff and find the right colors/mood, it's fun to mess around and have a nice impactful result!

Hello and thanks, I do use a custom brush (one of a few that I downloaded super long ago) for when the vegetation isn't front and center in the image. I think it's quite a common one as I've seen it in a lot of brush packs, so I think a quick search for foliage brushes will yield a lot more options that you can browse through yourself!
