🍷 (Full-res + Process Steps up soon!)

Started this piece with a pose in mind, but it turned out really challenging to try and create a proper setting to fit the character! Normally layering on more elements and details is a process I find quite straightforward, but the unusual setting made it a bit more challenging to flesh out the environment.

I hope you enjoy this image and find the process steps helpful as well! This month's Q&A video coming up soon, if you have questions feel free to add them to the comments of this video here. Thank you as always for your support!

I think including the reference board is a good idea, thank you for the suggestion! I will try to add them when it's relevant to the image in the future :)

Would it be too much to ask if you could include the references you use when you paint ? Thank you!🙏🙏🙏

Fantastic, I'm studying your style =D

Thank you, I'm happy that you enjoyed reading :) It's a mix of having some strong ideas I really want to do, supplementing key areas with reference, and making up stuff along the way!

Your process and how you overcome the challenges are so interesting to read! I'm intrigued though, how do you manage to create backgrounds with so many details while starting your project with a posture? Do you still search for references beforehand and already have an overall idea before starting out the project, or do you create everything along the way? (I absolutely love this piece btw! ^_^)

Thank you!

I love this work, kind of makes me have the movie kill bill vibe

Thank you! I just make up the names right before posting :) I personally prefer that everyone just enjoy the picture as it is so I don't to draw too much attention to the names.

GUWEIZ

Absolutely Stunning 🤩! Also, so you brainstorm with the names of the pieces ? Or is it spontaneous/ do you come up with the name during the process or after?

Thank you! There is still quite a bit more to explore with the characters in the "universe" sense; so far I've been doing a lot of works that showcase environments and places, with a bit of implied action here and there. I would like to move on to things like possible fight scenes or more overtly narrative drawings after this :)

GUWEIZ

Your lighting is amazing...btw do you plan to make a novel or comic or maybe webtoon with this bad guys series?
