Mr. Greg (and It's Over, Isn't It?) are so iconic. Everyone loooooved this ep when it dropped. Liked a comment you got in chat in the end: "This ep completely changed my opinion of Pearl despite it providing basically no new information." That's such a great way to sum it up lol. The tension between her and Greg is obvious but never properly addressed, and this is the most explicit Pearl has gotten about her true feelings of love and devotion towards Rose. Not to mention the fact that both she AND Greg are still working through their grief over Rose being gone. DeeDee absolutely killed the performance and the artists did a phenomenal job putting extra care into storyboarding the sequence. Truly one of The Moments of SU.

2025-08-12 23:40:36 +0000 UTCWhen i saw that you were starting SU i commented that i already knew what character you might hate (especially seeing about how you felt about character(s) like Bubblegum) which was Pearl. It's easy to hate her because she can be very petty and antagonistic. But this was the episode that put a lot of it into perspective for myself and other fans of the show. Even now this ep is still PEAK.
