Added 2021-10-03 22:10:11 +0000 UTCI’m just posting a quick update to let you know what’s going on with Vimeo. Last week, I uploaded two videos and the links gave an error message that said the videos didn’t exist. I took down these two videos and contacted Vimeo, who has strung me along for almost a week now. No resolution yet so I’m just waiting for them to fix whatever technical issue is happening (my technology curse). I’ll get more videos up as soon as possible! Thanks, guys!

If anyone else is having issues on their own Vimeo, I found a back door way to making the videos work. It still wasn’t working yesterday after over a week of bad support from Vimeo but then I changed the privacy settings from ‘private’ to ‘hide from Vimeo’ and it works. I’m thinking that they must have changed something accidentally in the coding but even they don’t know what they did. Vimeo’s suggested ‘fix’ was for uploaders to manually edit the link code and insert a line of code, but that seems pretty crazy to ask people to do that… so, long story made short- my technology curse works in weird and mysterious ways. Let’s hope my rickety luck continues….
