Dev Update #2 - D.I.E.T. - 0.30.0

I'm posting this from my phone unfortunately. I'm without power at my place (hurricane recovery is super slow where I'm at), so essentially I've been (sounds crazy to say this) taking my laptop into the car, charging it while running the car, and then working back in my place (not exactly comfortable, but manageable). But progress is slow. I'm sorry I kind of screwed this month's update timeline up and now I'm getting a double whammy of working through this. What I'm hoping to find out is that my office has power tomorrow. If it does, I'll be staying late at my office rather than heading home to work on the update (I've got good privacy at work). I will say, I'm very satisfied with the story (and editing from polarisdreamer) as well as the visuals of the characters in this update. But it's going to be a few days until this gets released. Sorry again mates... I'm not going to rush it just to get it out. It's going to be a fully flushed out update, but this is the first time in 30 months I have not posted by the end of the month. I can't say sorry enough...

Appreciate the crazy dedication you have to never have a late update; it is rare to pull that off to the degree you have. But dude it's a literal force of nature with a hurricane stopping you, lol no worries man. Just stay safe and when the update comes, it comes. Eagerly looking forward towards when it drops, sounds like a great one!

Hey take as long as you need, no need to be sorry, worry about yourself and your loved ones first. Stay safe during the recovery, all sorts of things are going to be out and about.

Red Nior

I think you're just trying way too hard to hit the month deadline. Maybe shoot for like 10 updates a year so that way there's no hard deadline and if you get done early on one you it's even easier and if things come up there's no worry

Umiko Sasaki

You have nothing to feel sorry about. I'm just thankful you're safe from the huricane.

Don’t you dare apologize. Hurricane recovery is never an easy or quick task. There are more important things to worry about.
