2024-01-04 23:38:52 +0000 UTCIn case someone wanted to know some context of the existence of this episode, here you go: this is a compilation of some of the extra/side chapters (usually 1 or 2 pages long) the mangaka, Norio Sakurai, posts on her Twitter/X. This is why the Japanese name of this episode is "Twi-Yaba", and HiDive probably should have labeled this better than OVA or "12.5". Most of these are just side gags that can be placed anywhere, though there are a few of these Twitter chapters that explain stuff that happens in the main series, hence why they are considered canon. For example, the skit where Ichikawa acts chuuni with the over-sized tracksuit is supposed to explain why, in that one episode where Ichikawa and Yamada accidently swapped tracksuit tops, the top fit Yamada perfectly despite the two having very different body sizes (in that Ichikawa bought an oversized one because he thought he would get bigger lol). Some of these Twitter chapters are also in season 1 (such as where Ichikawa says he kept Yamada's eaten potato chip bag to "do his business").
