I feel like there's no way we're being kept in the dark about her THIS long for there not to be something super epic, dramatic, and game-changing down the road. It would be so fucked up and anti-climactic if one chapter they're just like, "Oh yeah, btw, Nobara's officially dead." If she was actually dead, that shit could've easily been declared ages ago.
