Project Android Update #8

A little late on this update but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about this! Quite the opposite in fact. This month has been a lot of thinking about what the Android's personality means in detail.

What that means is, I've been working on contextualizing the Android's mannerisms. I've written a lot of dialog that isn't going to be in the final game, just to figure out how I want her to tick. Last time I explained how her personality is, without completely copying and pasting the whole design document, and I hope you're all warming up to how she's going to be.

First thing, I'd love to have people ask me things they would directly ask to the character. External prompts could help me figure out her voice more correctly. I'll let you know how she'll answer them next time if there are any questions or statements!

This was one of the things I wrote. I found a bit kitschy but I hope you find it funny.

A hamburger is very interesting! At first you can see its not made of ham, that’s obvious. But the amount of combinations, toppings, ingredients, meat temperatures and cooking apparatus discrepancies between billions of recipes, one could eat a variety of burgers for their entire life without encountering a double! A double hamburger is a different story.

Through the next few weeks I'll be writing more before I confidently feel like I can consistently nail a personality through the character. This is the hardest part in the process for me before I blast through writing tens of thousands of words for this thing.
