Dex managed to just tuck his head into his shoulders enough to keep his skull from cracking open like an egg. For 30 seconds the world was nothing but darkness and stars for Dex. 1000 miles away someone pushes a button and something clicks in Dex's skull and chemicals flood into his bloodstream. The sounds of Dex sucking in a huge lung full of air echo's around the room. Billy grins as he reclines back in the middle of the pool and says "Bout time".

Dex feels his body tremble and heat up as his gen modified organs start producing and over abundance of healing components. The feeling of things crawling under his skin and between his muscle fibers overwhelms his senses.
