Hola, mis amigos. The end of another week is upon us, which for me means more work on Missy! With several of the new maps now ready and the first part of the new quest written and starting to be implemented, progress is good.

I've also been sketching out the rough outlines of a few new ideas for Act 2. As I said, the school will be changing post-chapter six and this gives us some great new scope for scenes that I'll be talking about a little closer to the time.

Shortly, the school council will be polled about what else they'd like to see go into this update - with the Reign of Jess drawing to a conclusion, the focus will be shifting back to the school. We have some Act One stuff to wrap up, including several side quests. I'm not entirely sure exactly where they'll fit in in terms of the development cycle, since there will be hotly anticipated new quests available soon, possibly as early as 0.9, including Jess and Miss Paris's relationship quests. Still, having too many ideas is a problem some writers would kill for!

Poll Results

Last week I asked you which were your favourite kinds of "filler" updates. This helps me to know what kind of post to make on days when there isn't really much to say besides "I'm working on it."

The most popular type of content is character studies, followed by lore posts. So these are what you'll be seeing most of on those weeks. A reasonable number of you are also interested in peeking behind the curtain and some would like to see creative writing, something I've not tried on these pages yet. The least popular type of content is retrospectives, but these tend to be fairly uncommon anyway as they usually only come after a release.

There was a request for more interviews, I probably should have remembered to include that option, but we'll be seeing more soon. I'll have to go back and remind myself where we were with them, and of course, *adjust glasses* "more Pussy Pit updates."

It's still dank, seedy and smells of various fluids. But the drinks are cheap.
