In other news...
The long awaited rec/ranking list from 2021 Autumn anime!
1. Ousama Ranking. Everybody must have some backstory in the anime even simple goons. Very well thought out characterisations and the artstyle is extremely charming.
2. The Vampire Dies in No Time. Nonsensical humour, personal fav of last season. Just the vampire hunter name called Ronaldo gets a chuckle from me. Hilarious. 2nd season announced.
3. Aggressive Retsuko (ONA) 4th Season. This came out of nowhere like Jojo Stone OCean that just got dropped all at once by Netflix. Cute animals doing serious things, opposite of cgdct (Cute Girls Doing Cute Things). This is suffering a bit of power creep as each new season it gets more ridiculous. I liked how the 1st season of being just a down to Earth portrayal of a female office worker. I still really like it though.
3. Jojo Stone Ocean. Only 10eps released so far. The most surreal Jojo with wackierwacky powers and situations and characters. 10 eps dropped at once by Netflix. Looking forward to the next drop.
4. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen. This one had a really slow start but it's gotten nonstop good atm when we finally get to the demon killing stuff we've all been waiting for.
5. Komi-san. Some fun jokes and parodies.
6. Mieruko-chan. Horny show about ghosts.
7. takt op.Destiny. Good first episode. The soundtrack is strong with Beethoven's being the composer of this anime.
8. Muv Luv Alternative. This is one for the VN fans. This is getting a 2nd season this Autumn to finish famous VN I think.
And the new anime season has arrived! Exiting times at the beginning of every seasono for some fresh new anime. Shuumatsu no Harem along with a few I've just started. Not spoilering anything as it's the show's premise: It's a straight show about the gayest man on Earth when all men have gone extinct played in a completely deadpan manner. Unintentionally hilarious.

The season is still sort of strong but it's carried by last season's ongoing anime like Ousama King, Demon Slayer and probably the next Jojo Netflix drop (soon I hope but it's tba with the release date) so that's going to be 3 days sorted in a week for me lol for my late night anime watching. The new ones I've picked up so far: Sono Bisque had a very good 1st ep., Shuumatsu is unintentionally funny and extremely ecchi (uncensored ver.), Akebi-chan is moe, police in a pod has been a nice slice of life. I'll probably pick up more when the season matures after seeing what people are still hyping about midway and who remains standing strong. On the offside, I've been watching Dr.Stone S2, having dropped S1 when it was initially airing after making it 17ep of S1 lol. It's my backup when I don't feel like venturing to watch a new anime since it's hard to know if we're getting something worth our time worth because there's a billion anime waiting to be watched lol.
