Anyhow, I ran out of things to write when doing these short manga release announcements so let's talk about my favorite thing - Winter hot pots!

Apparently there are like 21 hot pot styles in Japan, of which I know only like 7 or 8. Ingredients can differ depends on the type of hot pot, but for me, mushrooms, and firm tofu are always required.

I'm unfamiliar with how hot pot is eaten outside of Japan but in most cases everyone would get all the ingredients while trying to leave as much broth as possible in the pot then add noodles or rice to the broth at the end. It sounds nice until you realized you put way too much noodle in too little broth and ended up with a muddy mess, which does happen to me a lot since I just don't learn apparently. 😅
