The Future of Templates

In the upcoming build, we’re bringing back all the old templates in a separate "Legacy" folder, which you’ll be able to access within the template section (as shown in the screenshot). Meanwhile, all the reworked and updated templates will remain in the regular template section, just as you’re used to.
My ultimate goal is to streamline all templates so that no matter which one you load, the structure inside the Masks section stays consistent. That means we will always have a folder for all premade masks and, depending on the template, additional folders for lighter and darker coloration as well as an overall more organized system with every Layer properly named and so on.
Some of the older templates—like the eagle or crocodile—are already a solid base, so I won’t be making drastic changes to their style. Instead, they’ll get a bit of polishing, structural optimization, and physics presets for tails and ears to save you time on setup.
However, some templates haven’t aged as well, so I’ll be introducing new ones over time—just like I have in the past. Speaking of which, here’s a little tease of the brand-new fennec fox template!
I also know that some species are missing entirely or only have gray bases with minimal features, so my plan is to provide at least one high-quality male and female template for every head we have available.
