Regarding Patreon's Sales Tax
Added 2020-06-03 19:48:59 +0000 UTCMaybe you have heard about this, but just to let you know, Patreon is now required by law to have sales tax on Patreon pledges.
This means that your pledges will now cost a small amount more depending on the benefits and where you live. This will go into effect starting Wednesday July 1, 2020.
I know this is not very beneficial for you the supporter and for me the creator, especially during these hard times, but that is what's happening so I'm just giving you a heads up on what's coming up. I will completely understand if there is a drop off of support because of these changes. I am still trying to figure out how all of this will work out so I will update this.
If you are still willing to continue your support that you have given me even after the result of these changes to Patreon, I will greatly appreciate it as it will help out my livelihood and help me try to continue doing this for a living!
