Questions to Patrons concerning Concept sculpts

As you may have seen by now, I've started to post some concepts sculpts of characters I do when I have some time over.

Thing is, they are not officially characters, yet, but they will become if enough people are interested.  It's also good to hear as many voices as possible with constructive critique so I've showed some of the characters out side of patreon on my FA-Account, and I got a lot of good respond and suggestions there.

I posted them after a month has passed. But I'd like to ask you, our patreons on what time scale on the curfew  from when I post here until i post the concepts outside would be?

One week, two weeks, or perhaps a month?

I ask you because you guys will always come first and foremost so your opinions matter. The Official characters will of course be locked to your viewing only until a new public release is available

Im probably gonna be a odd one out, but i just found out this game existed and WOW! Awesome content. Cant wait to see what you guys do next.

Everything is good as is. No need to complicate things. Please also as a request add a futanari or a herm? :p

Ink Splatter

I think only the in-game content is the only stuff that should be moderated. But all the concept art and what not. Should be available to everyone. Plus it would help promote the game in the long run.

I see no problem showing them at the same time. If you're looking for critiques on your work or a character's look, etc. then it makes more sense to get as much feedback from as many different sources as possible. However, when it comes down to ultimate decisions I'd say maybe tip the scales our direction. :P

I like how you've been handling it, like stated by others all we need is an equal ratio and what ever happened to the herm horse. I was sooo down for that. To me sometimes the longer you take the more you can work on details so nothing is rushed but everything has been pretty awesome. just keep on working like you guys have been I can really tell you are enjoying yourselves. And as it is said, "happy works equal better product. " Your fine and keep up the super good work.

I liked the ones with the ass n tiddies (actually, I really liked the idea of a highly customizable femboy). Also I don't see why there should be a delay posting concepts publicly. If the point is to get feedback, the more the better. And it could only get more interest in the project. If it comes down to weighing subjective preferences, I guess just give more consideration to your patrons over the public.

I'm with Zach, your method of handling is fine as is. The WiP's might entice some new patrons, so I say stick with what you're doing. Will there be a more formal Q&A session later?

Vawkis Silverfall

hello it would be great if we could include in this game the character of ZIG ZAG !

I think you're handling it just fine the way you are now. My only suggestion is trying to balance out the variety of boys compared to girls.

The non-official-character concept makes me mad a little but i have to understand this is an early development and later on when it actually launches, you'd start adding more things like a clothing mode, where they still have cloths on they would dry hump or grind against each other. butt rubs or breast fondling, then if one has no clothes on it would get more complex, then there is the regular mode for sex as of now. We would really need this to be impressive and not about sex all the time, some viewers would like to take it slow as they do to their climaxing capabilities. ||| To answer your question, once a week or somewhere possible around that time span. I would recommend though, taking your time Dogson. Not everything needs to happen instantly, people have to learn to be patient and understand, this game is fucking hot and it exists right now. Go on second life for now, then come back and have a fap fest, but, that would lead to them spending their money on second life, now would it? ~Be the head that is a step ahead.

So far I have not seen any of the character sculpts that I haven't liked. I may have a few quibbles (I prefer digitigrade and I am not a fan of the platform shoes on the hare). That said, Two weeks is probably a good lead time. Another option to consider (needs Odes input here) is a 'bull pen' of characters, a way to customize a players stable of characters via downloading from the server in a way similar to the way interactions are downloaded. With that kind of frame work the developers could push characters out for testing and criticism and players could choose which characters to keep in their local cache.

WorselTheV

The character you showed was very impressive and hot too.

I'd say share them maybe a week at most, but really to get the best input possible, and to have as little a delay as possible, get the sculpts out there so you can judge the response and plan accordingly.

I say share them with everyone at the same time. I don't see the point of holding them back just for us. Besides, it would be best to get peoples suggestions at the same time so you can get all the good suggestions as soon as possible.

medhathobo

So far I really like all the concept characters, so very sexy lol

SexyTurian69

I think concepts should be very short term retention because it's really just preview material and the sooner you get input the better. Maybe 1-2 days delay tops.

Baphomet

I'd say a week's delay. Gives patrons a chance to give their input and for you to review our input before anyone else gets a say.

Psy Draggy

I think a week or two at most would be good if you do want to post them ahead of time on patreon. A little something to incentivize being a patron, but at the same time the news wouldn't be too old to backers by the time the non-patrons learned of it.

dethkruzer

This may sound unrelated to the topic, but: have you guys thought about showcasing Yiffalicious at a Furrycon where you guys are? Or do you not have those where you are?

I agree with Jax. No reason to not let others outside the Patreon know what's going on, that way it'll grab their attention and possibly bring them in as supporters as well. You also get the constructive critique from both sides as soon as possible, meaning you have even more time to think on how to apply it. :3

MudWolf11

Nice, really generous of you :) I'll await the others responses too.

FurryVNE Team

Post them as soon as possible I would say. The more feedback you get, the more you see what people desire. So the sooner the better, I may be a patron but I have absolutely no problems with other people seeing the same things I see at the same time.
